Sales operations AI assistant
An AI layer over a CRM that drafts the admin work, with a human gate on everything.
Why we built it
Sales teams lose most of their week to CRM data entry, note-taking, and follow-up writing. Every vendor claims AI fixes this. We wanted to know what actually survives contact with real call recordings and messy pipelines, so we built the layer ourselves.
What it does
A research prototype that ingests sales calls, writes structured CRM records, drafts follow-up emails for a human to approve, and flags deals going quiet. Nothing reaches a customer or the CRM without review. The interesting work is in the gates: how little friction a review step can have before people stop reviewing.
What it taught us
The AI is the easy half. Adoption lives or dies on the review gate design: a one-click approve with visible diffs gets used, anything heavier gets bypassed. We now treat review UX as the core of any AI automation, not an afterthought.
