Clinic patient portal
Appointments, messaging, and consents with audit-grade logging from day one.
Why we built it
Healthcare software has a reputation for being slow, ugly, and avoided by the staff who are forced to use it. We wanted to test whether compliance-grade plumbing, role-based access, immutable logs, encrypted records, could coexist with an interface people actually like.
What it does
A prototype portal for both sides of the desk: patients book, message, and sign consents from a phone; clinicians see schedules, records, and messages in an interface designed to load in under a second. Every access is logged immutably, and the audit trail is a first-class screen, not a database query.
What it taught us
Compliance and usability are not in tension if the audit layer is designed first. Bolting logging onto a finished app is what makes healthcare software miserable. This build settled our conviction that regulated systems should start from the log, not end with it.

This exists as working software.
